The R4DS  version 2 has a capacity limititation of 2GB memory. This means that oinly a 2GB capacity memeory card can be used(although higher capacities will still fit into the device) for proper uage. Memory cards asre sold on a invidual basis and therefore you should only uby a 2GB card for this device.

If you anticipate heavy usage of the R4 device we advise purchasing the more robust and versatile R4 SDHC (version 3)device. The R4 version 3 allows upto a 32GB memeory card to be used in conjection with the device allowing maximum playability and least messing around constantly chaning the conents of the memory for use with the R4 card.
